Triathlon Eventing
Someone in the office thinks their funny I just received a valid
voucher to attend a full-on triathlon experience event are they having a laugh I probably wouldn't make it around the first turn, but I have an idea the first person who comes in late today will be the lucky beneficiary of this exclusive prize.
Why anybody would put themselves and their own bodies through such demanding gruelling punishment is
way beyond me,
but apparently many thousands of people right across the world just seen to love this one.
Always start with the basics some people still can't even swim so, take some lessons first,
introduce yourself slowly at your own pace easy steady
or hard in your own time.
There are starter packs available for beginners allowing
you to join a local club or group get active and compete with the many thousands of people who already love this sport.
This one will probably turn out to be the personal endurance challenge of your lifetime and most athletes should be ready
to compete after 9 full weeks of intensive personal training
split into 3 three-week sessions that cover the 3 main disciplines of this sport
which is swimming, cycling, and running.
After all of this training and you still decide that this is what you would like to do then I think you will now be ready
to compete against your rivals and peers on the big stage

Book Your Experience
You've completely followed all of the rules fully understand the three main disciplines of this sport swimming running cycling and you are also now a competent swimmer have religiously followed your 9-week training programme built up your muscle strength stamina focus and now also have a positive mentality you are now ready to register yourself to become a full-blown contender participant
and novice triathlete.
Equipment required, bike, helmet, wetsuit, swimming cap goggles, comfortable running bike riding shoes.
Time to join your local club register to race against
your peers.
You will be given a race number a timing chip that records time and distance over the course of the circuit.
You will start the race with a shorter race distance than the seasoned pros.
For the first leg, you will swim non-stop for a distance
of 750 m the swim element takes place in a regular pool or
out in the open waters of a lake or even the sea.
Swim out 325 m to the buoy an 325m back again to the start in full readiness of your first changeover transition.
Remove wetsuit cap and goggles put on your bike shoes and helmet and ride for 20km to the next transition point. You will then start the final stage of the race which is a
5km run first one to reach the finish line wins it's that simple. Check out our full list below for even more details.
